Mani Ratnam next with Vijay ?

Kollywood rumour mills are now churning out the news that ace director Mani Ratnam will direct Ilayathalapathy Vijay in a complete action entertainer. It is a well known fact that Mani Ratnam recently signed Vijay to play the lead role in his onscreen adaptation of the classic novel 'Ponniyin Selvan'. But due to budget constraints the project couldn't take off. Now the latest buzz is that since the director already has Vijay's dates (which he signed for 'Ponniyin Selvan'), he is now considering to make a complete action entertainer on the lines of Thalapathy and Agni Natchataram.

Vijay is currently busy with Jayam Raja's Velayudham and Shankar's Nanban. After this, In future Vijay might join hands with 'Kandaen' film director 'AC.Mugil'. It is revealed that, Mugil has impressed Vijay with his story. Currently Producer RB.Choudhary & Vijay are having discussions about this, and a final decision will be announced very soon says sources.
