A surprise element in Ajith’s Mankatha has been unwrapped. Sources reveal that Ajith will portray a dual role in Mankatha. Thala will play a tough cop in the film, the other character would be that of a commoner.
“Yes, the basic knot of the script is gambling. But it is not true that the film revolves entirely on cricket betting. It will deal about all sorts of gambling that are taking place,” said the filmmaker.
On the role played by Arjun in the film, he said, “Since he is playing a cop who is behind Ajith, the scenes in which he appear will be the highlight of the film. In one particular scene, Ajith would call him Action King.”
It may be noted that Mankatha is Ajith’s next to be released movie. The music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film is directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri.
