The audio launch of the movie Sattapadi Kutram at Kamal Theatre, Chennai today (14th March) was graced by several eminent personalities from Tamil cinema. The movie directed by SA Chandrasekar joins the list of movies which criticize the wrong doers of the society and people who break the law. The audio launch was attended by director Ramanarayanan, V.C.Guhanathan, Pandiyan, Editor Mohan, director Shankar, Kalaipuli S Thanu and Maha Prabhu Venkatesh. A surprise addition to this guest list was young actor Jiiva who is working with Vijay and Shankar in the film Nanban.
The cast of the movie Satyaraj, Vikranth, 'Tamirabharani' Bhanu and several others were present. Kalaipuli S Thanu who has seen the movie along with some VIPs in a special show, told that he is particularly impressed with the character that Satyaraj plays and that it is very influential and strong and that Actor Vijay could have also done justice to such a role.
Satyaraj, as a response to Thanu, said that he is glad that Thanu said this after the movie's filming was over and had he said it before, he might have lost the opportunity of playing this role.
It was very happy event and the director was extremely happy to have brought together his mentor and 'guru' director V.C. Guhanathan and popular director Shankar. The music scored by Vijay Anthony has three songs and all of them are said to be available for free downloads from the website www.vijayanthony.com. The music director said that it is with this movie that he has started this new trend and launched a new website. The audio was released by director Shankar and actor Jiiva received the first copy.
