Born as Karthika Menon in Kerala, Bhavana is the daughter of Pushpa and assistant cinematographer G. Balachandran Menon. She made her acting debut in the Malayalam film Nammal opposite newcomers Siddharth, Jishnu and Renuka Menon. After the big success of Nammal, there was no looking back for her. The actress is currently busy with Arabiyum, Ottakavum, P. Madhavan Nairum, Dr. Love and Kandaal Manyan in Malayalam.
