Talented actress Sujatha who was introduced to tinsel town by director K Balachander in Aval Oru Thodarkadai breathed her last today at her residence in Chennai. Sujatha was suffering from illness for quite some time and she was not seen in films or in television for the past few years.
Sujatha has acted in all the south Indian languages and was known for her elegant and at the same time strong portrayal of her roles. Her voice which was uniquely pleasant was liked by many.
