After a high profile launch and a schedule Dharani's big budget Ram Charan Teja film titled Merupu in Telugu, has been shelved.
And now, the young hero and son of superstar Chiranjeevi has decided to move on with his next project. Sources in the trade say that after the colossal failure of Orange, Ram Charan Teja's last film, the producers of Meruppu got cold feet and thought that with Dharani's budget of Rs 45 Crores, the film is not a viable proposition.
What happens to Dharani now? The hot shot director of super hits like Dhill and Dhool is now being considered for the Tamil remake of Dabangg. Earlier Simbu had wanted Saravanan to direct it. And now the latest news doing the rounds is that Dharani is the front runner to direct Silambarasan.
