Selvaraghavan and Dhanush was to come together for a project called Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam which was later shelved. But later the makers decided to call it Irandam Ulagam and went ahead with it with some brand new packaging. Andrea is the female lead in this much delayed project.
Irandam Ulagam has been in the making for a long time and Selva had originally roped in G.V Prakash for the music but later he was replaced by Yuvan after the director patched things up with him.
Dhanush sang the hit number, Un mela asaidhan in Selva’s Aayirathil Oruvan. The director is keen that his brother sings for this project as well. Yuvan has agreed and so Dhanush will be exercising his vocal chords once again.
