The saying ‘tough times don’t last for ever’ seems to come true as regards Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay’s profession. After facing many hiccoughs and speed bumps in his career in the recent times, Vijay is all set to raise like a phoenix with impressive projects in his kitty. If sources in the industry are to be believed, Vijay will be doing the role of Vandhiya Thevan in the historical project Ponniyin Selvan immortalized by Kalki Krishnamurthy to be directed by director Mani Ratnam. Beside this, Vijay will also be donning the role of Aamir Khan in Nanban, the Tamil remake of Three Idiots being directed by Shankar. Not only this, Vijay will soon be wrapping up Jeyam Raja’s Velayudham where he will be seen romancing Genelia and Hansika.
