Director Prabhu Solomon and producers UTV and Lingusamy's Thiruppathi Brothers Film Media, launched Vikram Prabhu son of actor Prabhu with Kumki.
A press meet was arranged at a five star hotel in Chennai on Monday (July 11) afternoon to launch Vikram, grandson of the legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan.
Vikram is a level headed guy, and a hard worker. He has lost more than 10 kilos to do this coveted role.
In Kumki he plays a guy who trains wild elephants and domesticates them.
The film's tagline says it is 'a wild love story'. It has music by D Imman. Lakshmi Menon is going to play the heroine in the film.
Those present at the launch included producers Lingusamy and his brother Subash Chandra Bose, UTV's G Dhananjayan and director Prabhu Solomon among others.
The shoot of the film will be held in forest locations of Kerala, Karnataka, Thailand, AP and Andaman.
