Recently Actress Anjali reported that her step mother Bharathi Devi and Director Kalanjivam were torturing her and cheating her and they were using her like an ATM.  On Monday, actress Anjali claimed that her step mother and Kalanjivam gave her lot of trouble.  Then She moved from Chennai to Hyderabad and settled in an secret place and hiding in an undisclosed place.  Her brother Ravi Shankar registered a case on Tuesday and Police is investigating the case.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s new film will be announced shorty.  The film is Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster film Baadshah, directed by Sreenu Vaitla. Prasad V.Potluri has bought the remake rights of this film.  Now Vijay is in Australia for the film Thalaivaa and a romantic song has been picturised with Amala Paul in Australia.  The director of the film Thalaivaa is AL Vijay and Music director is GV Prakash and the team will return to Chennai April end and Vijay’s Jilla Film shooting will commence from May.

Shankar's Next with Dhanush?

After catching the attention of the global audiences with his mega budget Rajinikanth starrer Endhiran, director Shankar is gearing up to team up with the Superstar’s son-in-law and National Award winning hero Dhanush.

Yes, this project will go on floors as soon as Shankar wraps up the Vikram’s starrer I. According to sources, this film will be produced by AGS Entertainment and a huge budget has been allocated for it. We also hear that this film will start rolling from August onwards. Vijay in the remake of Baadshah?

The buzz currently doing the rounds of K'town is that Ilayathalapathy Vijay is looking to get involved in yet another remake. Having tasted huge success so far with remakes of Telugu blockbusters, namely, Thammudu (Badri), Okkadu (Ghilli), Pokkiri (Pokkiri) and others, he is said to be eyeing the super hit, Baadshah, to remake in Tamil. Baadshah, a recent Telugu release, starring Jr NTR and Kajal Aggarwal, which opened to good reviews and impres sive collections at the box office, was directed by Sreenu Vytla and produced by Bandla Ganesh. Insiders say that ever since the promo of Baadshah was out in virtual space, there was a scramble to buy its Kollywood and Bollywood remake rights, Vijay includ ed. A little birdie tells us that Vijay has already held discussions in this regard with Ganesh. Vijay could not be contacted as he is away in Australia, shoot ing for Thalaivaa. The film is likely to take off once Vijay completes his prior commitment, Supergood Films' Jilla.

Vijay and Ajith to join hands ?

After Directors' Association, now the entire film fraternity is set to go for a day-long fast on Tuesday (April 2) against the reported genocide of Tamils in Sri Lanka. Some of the big names have already confirmed their presence at the strike. Vijay and Ajith Kumar have already confirmed that they will be participating in the event.

 

For the second time within two weeks, the Tamil film industry will join hands to observe a day-long fast. The first fast was observed March 19 in Chennai. While the Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association (TANTIS) and Film Employees' Federation of South India (FEFSI) spearheaded the earlier fast, the Nadigar Sangam - also known as South Indian Film Artistes' Association (SIFAA) - will fast in support of Sri Lankan Tamils on April 2.

 

"We received an overwhelming response for our token fast in March. However, everybody from the industry couldn't participate because of tight schedules. This time, we are hopeful of a bigger turnout. Actors who couldn't make it last time have postponed shooting to join the fast," a member of SIFAA told IANS.

Rajinikanth Romance again With Aishwarya Rai Bachchan!

Kollywood Sources say that Eros International, which is heading towards South with forthcoming movie, will be producing the film. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was recently approached by KV Anand and the actress was impressed with the script. After a few rounds of talks, she gave a nod to act in the movie, which will see Rajinikanth in dual roles and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be doing a never-before role in the film. The film is expected to be made in the Rs 100-crore league like Rajinikanth's forthcoming movies.
Kamal Jain, group chief financial officer-India, Eros International Media, had said earlier that they have signed a deal with Rajinikanth for the third movie after forthcoming Kochadaiyaan and delayed Rana. The next movie would be helmed by KV Anand.
